She thinks it's completely understandable! She'll think it's completely understandable if Jasper stays mad at them forever! Because a big component of what happened is… Citrine made a mistake. She completely acknowledges that, and in most threads, she made a point to point out, that it wasn't all of Citrine—and also included herself in that (implied that it's partially her fault). Because she knows that she WAS part of the decision-making process. 8Ua She did get kkkkkkkind of frustrated by the insinuation that NOPE NOPE NOPE Jasper is completely innocent!!11 thing because as far as she sees it, nobody is entirely innocent in trauma-games. Everybody has blood on their hands, why would you even try to pretend otherwise? Etc etc. Citrine was just unlucky enough to have circumstances+a really poor choice+bad luck in that they didn't get protected by the knights.
SO YEAH this is gonna stick with her for a while! She'll never forget it, and she'll never push Jasper.

She's a lil' worried about it primarily—well, actually, entirely—because of Erika, who outright stated that she wants revenge. As far as Berry's concerned, YES she would have let Erika hit her. No she will NOT over her dead body allow Erika to hurt Citrine. At her heart, Berry is a straightforward, emotive, protective character. SO.
