THE MEMORY
Another montage memory taking place during this period of time--this one covers him waking up, his first days and weeks with the Oresoren, dealing with the fallout of the decoy mission and coming to terms with the fact that yes, he was abandoned, that happened, he was deemed a failure--he was a failure by the only definition of the term he had at the time--and Solon is not coming back for him. Basically, what it feels like to have your entire reason for existence be pulled out from under you, and to have someone you love and worship and depend on reject you utterly.
WHAT HE LEARNED
Not a lot! This is mostly filling in the gaps of stuff he already knew--the way he was right after the decoy mission, and what he had to work his way up to in the later memories.
EFFECTS
Will hate past self a lot. Emotional weakness is for nerds. Being a ten-year-old kid who wanted to be loved by the only person in his life is clearly the worst thing in the world.
