THE MEMORY
The memory starts with Jay hanging out by the fountain plaza. He sees an unfamiliar face approach the plaza, and being the nosy information-gatherer that he is, decides to investigate!
???: Hello, there. Is this your first time in Werites Beacon? You're dressed like an Alliance marine. You look pretty strong.
[Senel stares at him for a moment, before turning his back on him. The boy runs around Senel and addresses him again]
???: So? Are you strong or are you not?
Senel: Who cares?
???: I care. I really want to know. I need to know. I can't stand it when there's something I don't know. You know?
[Senel refuses to respond, so the boy in purple jumps to the center of the plaza close to where Senel is standing. He calls out to everyone present]
???: Hey, anybody wanna take me on? If you can beat me, I'll give you 50,000 Gald!
[The chatter immediately stops, and everyone looks to where Senel and the boy are standing. The boy turns around and points to Senel.]
???: ...That's what this person just said!
Senel: Hey, what are you trying to do?!
Yes. The townspeople immediately congregate around Senel, who manages to drive them off by showing off this GLOWY EREN FINGERNAILS, despite Jay's best efforts at stoking the fire! However, this draws the attention of the Bantam Bouncers, who are . . . special, and attempt to take Senel to task for starting fights. With justice. And song.
As it turns out, Senel is stronger than the Bouncers. Jay remarks on this with some surprise, before hightailing it out of there. The memory ends there.
WHAT HE LEARNS
+ Alliance marine? Senel was someone notable and interesting even on the craziness of the Legacy, at least
+ . . . the Bouncers . . . (He will also recognize them as the generals of the Rexalian army.)
+ Eren were unusual! (which he sort of knew) And also intimidatingly powerful even without the sacred eres stuff, which he didn't, really.
+ yeah I sure was kind of a dick in the service of amusement and getting information
+ not like I didn't know that already though
